First Visit With Santa

The boys went to First National Bank on Main Street (Mr. Ron's bank) to visit Santa and Moola yesterday. They were not scared of Santa...I think since Grandpa looks a lot like Santa that helped. They also enjoyed spending time with Aunt Kim, Cousin Zach and Drew. The funniest was that the boys were more intrigued with Moola than with Santa...go figure...I wonder if it's because they recognized Mr. Ron's voice inside of Moola? :-)

Christmas Countdown

The Christmas countdown is upon us! We put our tree up Thanksgiving weekend, have been diligently Christmas shopping (only a few more presents to buy and we are finished!), have wrapped presents and have them under the tree, bought the boys some new Christmas oufits at the Rosalina sale, and now have taken pictures for our Christmas cards. Still lots more to do before Christmas arrives, but I am sure it will get done in due time. It's still hard to believe that the boys are almost nine months old and already getting ready to celebrate their first Christmas. Where does the time go?!?

Catching Up On A Month

Things have been very busy here and lots going on, the boys are now 8 months old, they stand up, crawl everywhere(one goes in one direction and the other goes in the other) and have two top teeth that are peeking through. We have gone to football games, birthday parties, shopping, out to dinner (they love the fire at the Japenese Restaurant) and just all over the place.
Here are some pictures of some of our adventures over the past month....

The boys are seven months old now. In seven short months, the boys can now sit up on their own, laugh, play, etc. They are also gearing up for their first Halloween.

Thank you Megan!

My cousin, Megan went on a cruise to Alaska and Canada. While she was gone she was thinking about her sweet little cousins...She brought them back the BIGGEST bibs ever from Victoria, Canada. Thank you for thinking of us Megan, we love you!

Friday Night Football Fever

Yes, for as long as I can remember Friday nights in Summerville means football! I guess that's why I love the sport so much, I really don't know any other way. The boys are also enjoying growing up watching the Greenwave on Friday nights. Friday night was the boys first Homecoming game where they watched the Greenwave wash out the James Island Trojans. Here are a few pictures from their Friday night fun!

Brad had to help out grandpa on the sidelines.

For 36 years my daddy has been on the sidelines at the Summerville games. He has only missed one home game from the sidelines in 36 years and it was because of Kevin's rehearsal dinner when he got married the first time...no wonder it didn't last, she didn't value Friday nights. ;-)

So "Beary" Cute!

Well, the boys have found their Halloween costumes...they are going to be teddy bears! I couldn't resist trying the costumes on them already. (I know...poor little guys, I dress them up all the time.) What "beary" cute little guys!

Lucky Lotto

Yes, I do like buying the scratch lotto tickets every now and then and I catch grief from Brad everytime that I do. I don't buy them all the time, just once in a while and I usually break even with winning tickets and a few bucks here and there. Until today, the most I had won in one pop was $30...but, tonight I won $100!! Yes, on a $2 ticket! We stopped for me to buy a newspaper on the way to my dad's for dinner and I bought a $2 scratch ticket. When I got in the car I started scratching away...Brad thought I was full of myself when I started yelling when I saw the first $50 that I won and then when I scratched the second $50, I was SO excited! Needless to say, he promptly turned the car around and let me go in and collect on my winnings. I know, it's only $100 but it's a start! :-)

First UGA game USC vs. UGA Sept. 12, 2009

The boys went to their first UGA game last weekend and had a great time. They sat in Papa's box, got passed around like doll babies, watched a great game and even caught a few minutes of a nap in the box. We're headed back to Athens next weekend, but the boys will be spending time with Aunt Fran, Abby and Eliza while mommy and daddy go to the game.

Been too busy lately

Well, so much has been going on since my last post. School is officially underway and the students are back and in the swing of things. So, needless to say with me being back to work I have been exhausted by the time I get home and trying to relish every minute with my little guys before they go to bed at night. Hayden and Bryce will be 6 months old this week and they have had a lot happening...they both have two teeth now (both on the bottom) and another trying to break through on the top, they have gone to their first middle school football game to see DuBose play, their first Summerville football game this past Friday night to see Summerville beat Goose Creek, their first time in the church nursery last weekend and are getting ready to travel to Charlotte and Athens (first time in the box at the UGA game) this coming weekend. They are definitely the most laid back little guys and such good traveling companions...we have truly been blessed. Here are a few pictures of them recently to show you just how big they have gotten.
