To celebrate our first anniversary, we started the day with a shopping trip with the boys. We can quite honestly say that we are very lucky at how good they are when we have taken them out. Then, we had dinner reservations at 5:30 so my dad and step mom came over to babysit the boys while we went out for dinner. We went to the Oak Steakhouse to celebrate with a fantastic dinner. (How odd it already felt to not have the boys with us.) We then came back home to have some wedding cake and end our evening together with our little guys. I am so blessed to have had such a wonderful first anniversary and look forward to many, many more!

First Visit With the Easter Bunny
Hayden and Bryce went for their first visit with the Easter Bunny today. We ventured out to Fancy Trimmins', my friend, DeeAnn's store to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Obviously they were oblivious to the fact that a giant bunny was holding them. We had a nice trip out and saw a TON of people there that we knew with their kids.
After visiting with the Easter Bunny, Kenny and DeeAnn's daughter Madison got to finally meet the boys. Madison tells me all the time that she is going to come help me babysit. She did a great job with them, so helping to babysit might be in her future. ;-) Friday, March 27, 2009

Drs. visit
Don't you love baby feet?!?
so sweet! We went back to the doctor today for the boys check up and had a GREAT visit. Hayden now weighs 8lbs. 1 oz. and Bryce 6lb. 4oz. Hayden grew 1 lb. 1 oz. in a week and Bryce grew 1 lb. 4 oz. in a week. They are now only a 1/2 inch apart in length too. Bryce has been eating up a storm lately...I think he is trying to catch up with Hayden. The doctor said they are very healthy and we don't go back again until our two month check up. We have truly been blessed for them to be so happy and healthy. Tomorrow the boys will be two weeks old...wow how time flies!
Also had other news today...my cousin, Matthew and his wife, Brittany are expecting!
How much fun is it going to be with another little one in the family!!

Lots going on...
Thank you Aunt Donna, we LOVE our vibrating seats!
Goooooo Dawgs....sic 'em!!!woof woof woof!!
Our family is now complete.
C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-RRRRR-S! Go tigers, fight tigers, fight, fight, fight! What a busy weekend we have had. Yesterday Brad and I decided to make our first trip out with the boys. We had fed them, changed their diapers and had the diaper bag packed to go...well, all sounded good until we got ready to get in the car and the battery was dead. Well, Brad tried to jump the car but the battery needed replacing...so the boys and I came back in and waited while daddy took care of the car. About an hour later we tried it again...this time, the car started and we were off! We went to Rooms to Go and Ashley Furniture to look for a new sofa, and we found one at Ashley Furniture (It will be delivered April 7th). After furniture shopping we went to the Carter Outlet Store and then ended the day with dinner at La Caretta. The boys were wonderful for their first outing and we had a nice time spending the day together just the four of us.
Now, today is a lazy Sunday with Brad working, the boys sleeping and me trying to relax a little. They are eating well, sleeping often and pooping a bunch. (To have a life like that :-) ) Aunt Donna comes today to spend the week with us, so we are looking forward to seeing her.

Settling in and meeting new people
Bryce checking out Uncle Kevin and Aunt C
A very proud grandaddy with his three grandsonsHayden, Cullen and Bryce
It's hard to believe that four months ago Cullen was the size of Bryce.
Cullen meeting his new cousins.
They love each other so much!Hayden and Bryce have been settling in at home with us and getting to meet all sorts of new people that stop by to visit them. They are such sweet boys...Bryce is the snuggly baby and Hayden is the very vocal baby. Personalities are starting to develop already.

38 weeks
Well, had my weekly doctor's appointment today. No change in dialation, etc. Bloodpressure was back at 110/70 (guess not going to work makes it stay very low) So...it seems that we will definitley be waiting until Thursday to meet Hayden and Bryce. If this is any indication of their personalities, they will be stubborn since they don't want to buge right now.
So...three days and counting! I am now officially on maternity leave and trying to rest a little and enjoy some downtime. Today I went and had a pedicure after my doctor's appointment and tonight I am having a Girls Night Out dinner. Tomorrow and Wednesday...don't have any plans other than to rest. Hard to believe that in less than 3 days I will be a mommy! I am SO excited to meet my little guys!!

37 weeks
Doctors visit went well today. Still having contractions, but not enough that the boys will be coming soon. If the contractions get stronger and closer then they may be coming soon. Otherwise...the c-section is scheduled for next Thursday and that is when they will make their debute. My last day of work will be Friday, so I am hoping to be able to tough it out until then. So...the waiting game continues. I am so anxious to meet Hayden and Bryce and hug and kiss them! :-)
