A Day of Mixed Emotions
Well, this afternoon has been a rough one. I have been contemplating for sometime getting rid of my dog, River. Ever since the boys were born poor River has been sort of tossed to the side, he was an only child and suddenly he had two brothers. River is a super sweet dog, but needs a lot of time and attention...more than we are able to give him. So...River has gone to live in St. George with Karen and Tim on their farm. I know he will be happy there and it will ease my life of a lot of stress, but it was sad to see him go. Even now I still find myself crying, but I know he will be ok and we can go visit him whenever we want. We'll miss you River dog!

working hard
Sometimes I get the distinct honor to go to other schools to serve on committees. Here is a picture of one of those times. I was invited to Knightsville Elementary by my friend and colleague, Wally Baird to serve on the teacher of the year committee. What a wonderful panel of teachers we interviewed and how nice to keep in touch with the elementary schools still.

11 months old now!
Lots going on in our lives these days...the boys love feeding themselves, drink from a sippy cup only, they dance, clap their hands, make indian noises with their hand on their mouth, wave hi and bye, open cabinet doors, Hayden chatters "dada" all the time, Bryce says "hi!", they can crawl up the stairs, dance, pat their head when you say where's your head, wrestle with each other, still love to snuggle when they get sleepy and Hayden started walking Feb. 2, but Bryce thinks crawling gets you there quicker still. The boys went to their first college basketball game to see Ms. Julie's lady Bucs play Liberty. We even had our first snow on Feb. 12/13!
And...we'll be celebrating our first birthday in less than a month!
