Diaper Shower at School

Today at school my faculty/staff had a diaper shower for us. We got TONS of diapers...everything from newborn to 35 lbs. Brad is quite relieved because I would not let him buy any diapers yet. Thank you to everyone for all of the diapers, you don't know how much we appreciate them and will definitely use them. I think we might be shocked how many diapers we use in the long run!

Ultrasound today...

We went and had an ultrasound today and Hayden and Bryce were both doing great. Heartbeats were strong and both weighed in at four and a half pounds each....WOW!!! They are going to be BIG boys! They are both breech at this time with very little room to turn around. They also said they both have a head full of hair too...must be taking after Brad because when I was born I was bald! They were only able to get pictures of Hayden's face because Bryce was turned around facing my back...not being too cooperative today. Here are a few of the pictures from the ultrasound.

Baby Shower #2

This past weekend my friends, Kim and Melissa had a baby shower for me. Just a few friends and family members in attendance, but a great time was had by all. Hayden and Bryce once again got lots of great things they will need....clothes, bath tub, bouncey seats, wagon, diaper pail, books, diaper bag, mobiles for their cribs, etc. Thank you everyone for coming and thank you Kim and Melissa for a very nice shower.

Baby Shower

Today my good friends, Adele, Elena and Harolyn hosted a baby shower for me. Lots of good food and good friends. We got so many cute little baby clothes, a new pack and play, baby monitor and lots of other baby essentials that we needed. Thank you ladies for a great party and for being such great friends! And a big thank you to everyone that came today...I love you all and loved catching up with everyone.

Doctor's visit this week...

I went to the doctor Monday for my 28 week appointment and had the hour long glucose test which went well, my sugar is good. :-) Dr. Givens said I was looking good and so were the babies. I go back in two weeks for my 30 week appointment and another ultrasound. I can't wait to hear how big the babies are because at the last ultrasound ( 2 weeks ago) they said they are in the 92nd percentile for size and one already weighed 2 pounds four ounces and the other 2 pounds one ounce. Now I am more tired than ever and feel like I am getting bigger than a house. I just can't imagine going back to work Monday, especially since I have gotten use to taken mid-day naps during my Christmas break.

Happy New Year! 2009!!

We went to dinner at Oscars then to Catherine's for a little bit to ring in the new year. Last year I had knee surgery and couldn't drink anything for new years and this year was a dry new years also since I'm pregnant. Next year I might be able to have at least a glass of wine. :-) Happy 2009!!
